 Galatzó Public Estate

A legend if ever there was one, this trip is surprising for its green paths and accessibility and is easy enough to be done with children.  Although there are different ways to make the route, the most well known is from Es Capdellà -a small town that is part of the municipality of Calviá- continuing along a well marked road, which takes about an hour until you reach a farm estate where you can find places to eat and spend the day.

A trip of moderate difficulty that requires a certain amount of physical preparation, its 1,364m give you a changing landscape full of natural beauty. This typical route begins in the town of Lluc, in the municipality of Escorca, with a tough climb through Comafreda. The change of landscape from the beginning with a green wood, to the top, with a rugged, rocky terrain, is a journey through the island’s most characteristic natural landmarks. The trip takes about three hours to ascend and two to descend.

Castell d’Alaro

Another perfect routes to enjoy with the family, the ascent to the Castell d’Alaró is a trip that has an ascent of approximately 2 hours that runs along a wide, marked path and ends in a mountain refuge where you can eat and even spend the night. It’s perfect for something active to do as a family. Try the delicious cakes they make at the refuge!

Talaia de la Victoria

On this trip you can get to know one of Majorca’s gems. Located in a natural landscape that will captivate you, to get to this watchtower you will have to park your car in the (Hermitage) Ermita de le Victoria – which we also recommend you to visit for its fascinating history and architecture. On a one-hour long excursion along well-marked roads you will enjoy beautiful views in a setting that will bring you closer to the alternative face of the island.

Esporles – Valldemossa

This mountain route begins in the town of Esporles and ends in the picturesque village of Valldemossa and although it is not a difficult route, it is best to be fit, since it takes about 4 hours. Take advantage of your arrival in Valldemossa to try the delicious cocas de potata (cakes). You’ll be surprised at how good they are!
